I believe…

  • that stupidity is its own reward.
  • that there is more of the miraculous in the laughter of a child or the fall of a raindrop than in all of the stories in “The Good Book”.
  • that Life arising and evolving through almost random processes is more of a miracle than some deity saying “Let the earth bring forth”.
  • that between believing in the purported promises of a boojum we cannot see, hear, touch, smell or taste and believing that we human beings can become better than we are despite all the evidence we see and hear and experience firsthand to the contrary, it is the latter which requires the greater faith.
